BATTERY FOR VINTAGE MODELS CONVERTED TO 12 VOLTS

For those who have a vintage Harley that is converted from 6 to 12 Volt we offer this 12 Volt battery that fits inside a horseshoe style oil tank or the stock battery box on a 45CI WL. As it is shorter than the stock 6 Volt battery you have to use a rubber spacing block to keep it in a secure position. The Samwel battery comes dry charged but does not include the necessary battery acid. We have battery acid available in one liter bottles that can be shipped as road cargo only. Alternatively you can purchase battery acid from a local car shop or DIY store.

Note: Battery Performance: Cranking Amps (CA) are measured at 32ºF (0ºC), Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) are measured at 0ºF (-18ºC), capacity in AH is stated at a 10 hour rating. Dealer Notification: Batteries that are shipped by air (such as UPS Express Saver) are subject to Safety Regulations and therefore require special packaging and labeling. Batteries that are shipped as road cargo (such as UPS Standard and TNT Economy Express) are subject to less strict Safety Regulations.
