At Franklin Motors, we aim to deliver your order quickly, safely, and reliably. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver orders placed through our online store.
1. Delivery Partners
We ship using trusted, trackable carriers:
- DPD
- An Post
- DHL
The carrier used for your order will depend on your location, the size/weight of the items, and service availability.
2. Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. During peak periods, processing times may be slightly longer.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
3. Delivery Times
Typical delivery window: 3–7 business days within Ireland and the EU.
Delivery times may vary due to:
- Stock availability
- Carrier delays
- Weather or seasonal demand
- Rural/remote locations
- Customs checks (for international orders)
We provide tracking information as soon as your order has been dispatched.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Delivery address
- Size and weight of items
- Selected shipping method
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
5. Delivery Address & Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is correct when placing an order.
Franklin Motors is not responsible for delivery failures caused by:
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Missing Eircodes
- Recipient not being available at the delivery location
If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges will apply.
6. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your order arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the packaging and damaged item
- We will assist with a replacement or refund as required under EU law
If a parcel is lost in transit, we will open an investigation with the carrier. Please allow the carrier’s full investigation time (typically 7–14 days).
7. International Shipping
We currently ship to Ireland, Northern Ireland, and selected EU destinations. Customs charges, duties, or local taxes (if applicable) are the buyer’s responsibility.
