Ger Dijkshoorn (born 1947 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands) owns one of the most established specialized Harley-Davidson workshops in Utrecht, the Netherlands since 1978. Dutch Motorcycle Academy founder Peter van den Barselaar once complained to him that lots of knowledge about classic and vintage Harleys is fading away as many of the older mechanics retire. He asked Ger to put some details on paper so that he could give a training on these. What started as making just a few notes ended up in booklets, and the Linkert manual was just the beginning. Number two in the series is a manual on the DC generators used in most Harley-Davidson models until 1969. Available exclusively from Zodiac in English.
