This 3/8" drive 35mm socket is the best and safest way to remove or install the fork tube caps on all 39mm and 41mm Narrow Glide, Mid Glide and Wide Glide forks. Jims socket has a rubber protective coating on the inside to prevent damage to the nut, wheras the Colony sockets feature an installed O-ring for this. Sockets are low profile, to clear most handlebars.
